Grade 3 Math vs. Go Learn Pods Acceleration What schools cover in Grade 3: Students begin to learn multiplication and division. They practice basic facts, see multiplication as repeated addition, and division as sharing. By the end of the year, they’re expected to know their multiplication tables up to 10 and solve simple word problems. What we do at Go Learn Pods: We take learning further. Our students don’t just memorize facts — they understand how multiplication and division are connected. They learn that division is the “undoing” of multiplication, and they practice using fact families to recognize the inverse relationship. Instead of stopping at fluency within 100, we: Teach kids to see multiplication as scaling, not just adding. Show division as reversing multiplication, so it truly makes sense. Use challenging, real-world word problems that build problem-solving confidence. Stretch their thinking into larger numbers and patterns, preparing them for advanced math in Grade 4 and beyond.
